2- RUN , WALK 4 CANCER 2 : BCS is organizing a Walkathon of 5.2km. on Fraiday 17th Oct. 2008 at 4:00pm, Location & route map is attached.

4th GCC Evidence - Based Health care workshop

Dear all,
Hope you and your famillies had a happy and blissed Eid and you are back fresh and enthusiatic as usual.

It is my pleasure to announce for the 4th GCC Evidence-Based Health Care workshop that will be held at the College of Medicine, King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Who should attend? The workshop suits the needs of all health care professionals; Physicians, Dentists, Pharmacists, Nurses, Dieticians, Lab personnel and all other health care professionals (who have good command of English).
Time: November 22-26, 2008.

Organizers: Shaikh Abdullah S BaHamdan Research Chair for Evidence-Based Health Care and Knowledge Translation and the Medical Education Centre at the College of Medicine, King Saud University; The National Scientific EBM Committee, Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia and the Executive Office of the Health Ministers' Council of the GCC States.

Invited Speakers: Prof Paul Glasziou, Oxford, UK and Dr Hassan BaAqeel, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

In this workshop, more emphasis will be placed on small group work which will be lead by highly-selected facilitators who were invited from different institutions, different specialties and from different parts of the Kingdom.
